Kira makes her Cleveland Repertory Orchestra debut as soloist in Edward Elgar’s Sea Pictures. Program to include additional works by Jessie Montgomery & Barbara Harbach. 7:00pm start.
SheScores2024
The Fourth Season of SheScores, presenting works by female-identifying and non-binary composers from Ohio and surrounding states. Kira will perform on May 30, 31, and June 1, with compositions by Nora Farley, Annick Odom, and Jennifer Connor, respectively. 7:00pm start each night, with 6:00pm preconcert lecture. Free.
Waitin' for my Dearie: Brigadoon in Concert
The Musical Theater Project presents Waitin’ for My Dearie—Brigadoon and the Miracle of Love, a new docu-concert, with vocalists, a small chorus and orchestra, augmented by commentary, excerpts from the script, video clips and dozens of still images. 7:30pm start.

An octet from Cleveland Chamber Choir presents a concert on Britain’s Queens for the North American British Music Studies Association 2024 Conference. Open to all. 7:30pm start.

Kira returns to The Toldeo Zoo, with the Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra, for an evening of patriotic and pop favorites. 7:30pm start.
Handel's Messiah with Apollo's Fire Baroque Orchestra
Sound the trumpet! Jeannette Sorrell, soloists, and chorus bring their nationally acclaimed interpretation of Messiah back home to Northeast Ohio. The singers become musical storytellers, bringing spirituality and theatricality to Handel’s richly layered masterpiece.

The American Sound
Kira returns to the Lima Symphony Orchestra, performing as soloist for Constant Lambert’s The Rio Grande. Other works on the program include Aaron Copland’s Billy the Kid Suite and George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. 7:30pm start.
Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes
The Haff-Paluck Chamber Music Series presents Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52, for four-hand piano, and vocal quartet, as well as lieder by Clara & Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn. 1:30pm start.
